Whether they’re Ruffnex, Sprites, Skrillers or Skrillerz (there’s serious online debate as to whether it should end with an ‘s’ or a ‘z’), when talking about the diverse and ever-growing fan base of Sonny Moore one thing is for sure, they are a wildly talented and creative bunch of Monsters!
Rather than just sitting back and consuming all the great music Sonny has provided us all with over the past couple of years, both as front man of the post-hardcore band From First To Last or more recently as 5-time Grammy nominated electronic dance music producer Skrillex, his fans have returned the favor taking their affinity for his tunes to YouTube and the results are truly impressive.
All their hard work has certainly paid off, grabbing the attention of Skrillex himself who recently posted a selection of the videos on his Facebook page. Full of compliments for his fans and overwhelmed by their creativity, Skrillex said “I have some awesome, talented fans”.
Amongst the videos posted, was an absolutely adorable fan video titled ”MY NAME IS SKULLEX!!” which features a young fan singing and dancing along to his early hit My Name Is Skrillex. “Posted this before…melted my lil heart so I had to repost this this again” he wrote about the clip.
