We’ve decided to put together a monthly chart here at Cool Accidents where in everyone that contributes to the blog will choose two tracks that they’ve been feeling over the course of the month.

There’s absolutely no rules when it comes to the selection process, the tracks can be new or old, country or hip hop, heavy metal or folk, live versions or studio takes… basically whatever has floated our boats over the month that was. 

Given all our different tastes this will no doubt result in a real mixed bag of stuff (much like our blog itself) to listen to and given the diversity there will definitely be something for everyone.

Anyway, that’s enough chit chat, let’s let the music play for the month that was May!

Fundraiser For Familia

Familia Moja Children’s Home was founded in September 2007 by Wambui Muiru with the help of Jess White and James Woodward. The aim is to work within the community to set up sustainable development projects which both support the orphanage and benefit the community.

The first ever group of volunteers are heading across to Kenya in January to assist in building the permanent children’s home and there is a fundraiser happening this Friday night (28.10.11) at the Workers Club in Melbourne.

Performing on the night will be TANTRUMS - Baptism of Uzi - Lowtide - Melodie Nelson (SYD - solo show) With Special Guest DJ’s Shags (Lost Animal, Pikelet) and Chris (New War) Marcus from UV Race will also be your friendly doorman for the night! Entry is $15 at the door. Doors at 8:00pm.
